Upon completion of his undergraduate studies at Ohio State University (1970) and dental school at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery (1974), Dr. Hoffman was stationed on Guam working with the United States Public Health Service. After growing up in the New York area, he and his family made South Florida their home in 1976.
Dr. Hoffman continued his education in the 1980s at The American Academy of Implant Dentistry at The Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, followed by completion of The Harvard Seminars in Implant Dentistry at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. In the 1990s, he attended Lynn University where he earned a Master of Professional Studies with an emphasis on BioMechanical Trauma and a focus on TMJ and Neck Pain. Always seeking to provide his patients with the best in dental care, he has continued to expand his approach to comprehensive dentistry with continuing education in Sedation Dentistry, Advanced Cosmetic Procedures, and Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Dr. Hoffman is considered Miami’s “Original Sedation Dentist”.
